General Job Summary:
Supervises and directs all activities of manufacturing departments. Responsible for safety, quality, cost and schedule performance of direct reports.
*this is a 2nd shift position ( Four 10 hour days from 2:30pm - 1am, may require overtime hours)*

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Experience with an ERP system a plus.
Other Requirements:
Ability to read and understand blueprints. Understanding and ability to use inspection gauges (verniers, micrometers, height stand, pins). Experience as an operator with fabrication equipment specific to area of responsibility. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to promote and maintain a positive, customer focused work environment.
Language Skills:
High Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
