Manufacturing Supervisor - Auria Solutions : Job Details

Auria is a leading global supplier of automotive acoustical and textile solutions. Formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Shanghai Shenda Co., Ltd., and International Automotive Components (IAC) Group, Auria is built on a 150-year transportation industry heritage. Our product line includes highly engineered acoustical solutions for interior noise reduction, textile-based and compression-molded flooring products and other interior soft trim products, including package trays, trunk trim and wheel arch liners. This is a 2nd shift position; 2nd shift production hours are 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM. The Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

• Supervision of hourly employees, both skilled and unskilled, and scheduling of labor
• Ensures safety, quality, housekeeping, and production activities and objectives are being met.
• Ensures that all equipment and materials necessary to perform the job effectively and safely are in place.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to quality, production, safety, cost control, and employee relations.
• Assisting Maintenance in work orders, calls, and directing skilled trades accordingly.
• Any additional reasonable requests deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience:

• Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an union environment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Working knowledge of a unionized workforce desired
• Able to work well in a team environment
• High sense of urgency
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
