JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Systems AnalystJOB LOCATION: La Mirada, CA (Hybrid Schedule)WAGE RANGE*: $75-80/hrJOB NUMBER: 24-01992Job Description :We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support our efforts in enhancing production efficiency and profitability across our manufacturing operations. This role requires both analytical and technical expertise to evaluate existing manufacturing processes and contribute to the selection, implementation, and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying and prioritizing MES features to support our productivity goals while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Responsibilities :Process Analysis : Evaluate and analyze current manufacturing and production processes to identify areas for increased profitability, efficiency, and quality improvement.MES Implementation : Collaborate in the selection and phased implementation of an MES, ensuring the system enhances productivity and complements current systems (such as ERP and other ongoing projects) without replacement.Feature Prioritization : Assist in prioritizing MES features based on critical needs, such as performance analysis, resource allocation, tracking, process management, and labor management.System Integration : Ensure the integration of MES with existing ERP and production systems to support data accuracy, inventory management, and production planning. Work with stakeholders to streamline processes across manufacturing and supply chain functions.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement : Work with executive sponsors, steering committees, solution developers, and manufacturing team members to gather input, address concerns, and drive project alignment across departments, including planning, merchandising, and finance.Data Collection and Analysis : Utilize MES for data-driven insights on performance indicators, process cycle times, and resource allocation to identify and resolve inefficiencies.Phased Deployment and Adaptability : Support the phased deployment of MES across multiple locations, adapting to resource alignment and any operational challenges that arise.Cost and ROI Analysis : Contribute to cost and ROI assessments to justify the MES investment, focusing on demonstrating long-term financial and operational value.Qualifications :Strong background in retail, preferably within the furniture industry.Experience in manufacturing operations, systems analysis, or production process improvement.Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and data-driven process analysis.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive system adoption and process alignment.Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Experience in project management and system implementation is essential.Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled* While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
