Manufacturing Technician 1st or 2nd Shift- Oregon - Coilcraft : Job Details

We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team.Duties and Responsibilities* Assist Engineering with prototype product (and/or production equipment or process) development, and/or assembly & testing.* Assist Engineering by processing Task Requests as needed for Product Development work.* Responsible for machine refurbishment & testing in support of manufacturing.* Ability to safely work with chemicals using prescribed PPE* Develop and maintain records and data of engineering studies, test, and drawings, including performing, computation, plot data and preparing graphs.* Note deviations in performance not anticipated or indicated in the test procedures.* Assist with writing procedures & work instructions for machines and/or processes.* Assist with the development of process control plan, PFMEA, flow charts, etc.* Assist with training production employees on new machines and/or processes as needed.* Comply with quality systems procedures & documentation as required.* Performing product, manufacturing or applications and engineering support activities as directed.* Conducts tests involving electrical or electro-mechanical parts on assigned projects for prototypes, competitor products.* And other duties as assigned.Qualifications* High School Diploma or GED.* Associates Degree - in a technical field a plus.* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.* Proficient with Microsoft Office* High Attention to Detail required* Good math and communication skills (Written and Verbal)* Must have valid driver's license to travel between facilities* Working knowledge of gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and various measuring devices.* Mechanical Aptitude
