Here We Grow Manufacturing TechnicianThe Manufacturing Technician at Mint Cannabis is responsible for supporting the production process from raw material conversion to the finished cannabis product. This role is essential in ensuring that production schedules, compliance standards, and operational efficiency are consistently met. The Technician will oversee various stages of production, from the botanical preparation phase to the final packaging of products. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage documentation and systems, and the skill to lead a team within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in food or pharmaceutical production, and be dedicated to maintaining safety and quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Production Oversight: Communicate production goals, timelines, and schedules to ensure all objectives are met on time.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with state regulations, quality control standards, and internal company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, incident reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inventory and Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels for raw materials and consumables, ensuring adequate supplies and maintaining records of material usage.
- Training and Development: Complete hands-on training, and support to senior
technicians, ensuring all processes follow safety and equipment protocols .
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure manufacturing equipment is functioning properly by performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime.
- Collaboration: Work with upper management to ensure production goals align with company objectives and participate in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesQualifications
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- 2+ years previous security work history/background.
- 1+ years of driving experience.
- Holds a valid unrestricted state driver's license.
- Maintain an insurable and safe driving record.
- Must be detail-oriented and computer literate with above-average math skills.
- Some weekends are required as needed.
Additional Abilities Required
- The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive motions accurately are required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
