Manufacturing Technician - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in East Durham, New York is presently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for the manufacturing of bulk products including powder and liquid formulations which would be processed into a finished product. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and written skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Compounding raw materials into finished goods
• Measure and weigh raw materials
• MAthematical calculations of raw materials
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Cleaning equipment and work area
• Handling Hazardous materials
• Ability to work as a cohesive team member
• Any and all requests made by senior management

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to communicate both verbally and by scribe
• Basic understanding of weight and volume measures
• Experience with Microsoft office including MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
• Quality control and Quality Assurance experience
• Ability to handle hazardous waste safely
• Ability to clean equipment and work area
• Ability to to follow SOP(standard operating procedures)
• Ability to adapt to changing schedule
• Ability to work as a cohesive team member
• Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand on feet for the entire shift
• Problem solving skills
• Good time management
• Steel toe boots or safety toe composite boots
