Manufacturing Technician - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our Client, a leading manufacturing company in East Durham, New York is presently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for the manufacturing of bulk products including powder and liquid formulations which would be processed into a finished product. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, written skills, and having pride in the quality of work produced which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Compounding bases and solutions into a finished product
• Measure and weigh raw materials
• Mathematical calculations of raw materials
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Cleaning equipment and work area
• Handling hazardous materials
• Ability to work as a cohesive team member
• Any additional requests made by management

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to communicate both verbally and by scribe
• Basic understanding of weight and volume measures
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Quality control and quality assurance experience
• Ability to handle hazardous waste safely
• Ability to clean equipment and work area
• Ability to follow SOP(standard operating procedures)
• Ability to adapt to changing schedule
• Ability to work as a cohesive team member
• Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand for the entire shift
• Problem solving skills
• Good time management
• Steel toe boots or safety toe composite boots
