Like a genetic linebacker, this client runs interference with RNA to prevent the forward progress of disease. RNA interference (RNAi) technology developed by the biotech firm can selectively shut off harmful genes. The company is developing a pipeline of candidates both individually and through collaborations with other drugmakers. Its disease targets include neurological ailments, hypercholesterolemia, and hemophilia. They have additional partner-based programs in clinical or development stages, including candidates targeting respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection and liver cancers.They have an opening for a 1st shift for a Manufacturing Technician. With limited supervision this individual will manufacture clinical products in Train 1 at the Norton Manufacturing Facility ensuring safe, efficient, and cGMP-compliant operations at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to operation of production equipment in the area of weigh/dispense, solution preparation, chemical synthesis, cleavage and deprotection, UF/DF, HPLC, annealing, concentration and lyophilization. This role requires interaction with support groups (facilities, process development, QC, QA and validation and so on,) to ensure accurate and efficient daily plant activities. This individual will be responsible for coordinating either chemical synthesis or HPLC suite operations.To put that all into English, they are looking for nuke MMs, conventional MMs, or nuke ELT - This client hired from us before at a different company and consistently hired these backgrounds. Your main responsibilities will be to work on the machinery in the facility, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and so on. This is a 1st shift Wednesday-Saturday role.Base salary, plus a 10% bonus, $10K vesting stock opportunity, and a very robust retirement and benefits plan.
