Manufacturing Test Engineer - Onnyx Systems : Job Details

Onnyx Systems is looking for a mid-level Manufacturing Test Engineer with strong Python and hardware skills to join us as our first Field Applications Engineer.

Onnyx Systems is building a cutting-edge platform for automated manufacturing test execution and management, designed for contract manufacturers and OEMs.

About the Role

This is a part-time contract position (5-10 hours per week to start), with the potential to grow as we scale. The role is hybrid, requiring regular visits to customer sites in New England (primarily the Boston metro area).

Key Responsibilities

• Become an expert in all things Onnyx
• Assist in system deployments and bring-up
• Train customers on using the Onnyx platform
• Write and maintain Onnyx test scripts for customers
• Serve as the on-the-ground contact for customer site visits, handling (hopefully metaphorical) fires as needed

Who Were Looking For

• Python expertise
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and/or design
• A strong customer-centric mindset

• Firmware experience
