With top-notch health benefits, a wealth-building 401k plan, and unbeatable growth opportunities, by joining Kiewit, you re ensuring a lifetime of success.LocationThis role is based our of our New York or Woodcliff Lake, NJ office.ResponsibilitiesAs part of a team, perform design of:Coastal Projects shore protection, flood risk reduction infrastructure, beach restoration, breakwaters, and jettiesEcosystem Restoration marsh restoration, reefs and adaptive structuresProduce professional engineering products for pursuit and projects.Check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.Adhere to schedules and work assignments to ensure successful project completion.Coordinate with other designers, engineers and other team members assigned to a project or task, and support work progress and results.QualificationsBachelor s degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering.8+ years related design experience in relevant projectsStrong interest in analysis and design and working on an integrated design & construction team.Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.Ability and willingness to support other activities that have similar functions.Other Requirements:Regular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environmentPerform work safely and effectively.
