The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.Position Overview Pantheon Data has a need for a Marine HVAC/R Engineer to support a major surface acquisition program for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). The selected candidate will work as part of a dynamic cross-functional team to support the design and development of Coast Guard ships and boats.Required Skills and Experience
- Design, develop, and evaluate operation of shipboard HVAC&R systems (including heating/cooling load, duct sizing and chill water piping calculations, equipment selection);
- Conduct reviews of technical data packages;
- Conduct HVAC&R trade studies;
- Familiarity with ABS, USN, and industry standards relating to shipboard HVAC systems.
Experience / Certification Requirement
- 3 years Marine HVAC/R;
- DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred.
EducationBS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine fieldClearance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Work LocationHybrid - two (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)CompensationThe salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
