Marine Maintenance Intern - Marathon Petroleum Corporation : Job Details

Marathon Petroleum Company is offering a maintenance internship opportunity within its Marine Repair Facility (MRF) in Catlettsburg, KY. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to our inclusive work environment. The Maintenance Intern will play a role in enabling our business to make informed decisions, adapt to change, and continuously improve. They will receive meaningful hands-on experience by rotating through different areas in the MRF, such as Barge Cleaning, Electric Shop, Motor Shop, and Weld Shop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Barge Cleaners:Perform activities in the Boiler Area, Tank Farm, Water Treatment Plant, and Vapor Control Unit such as:Gauge tanks. Run hotwash pumps to supply hot water washing barges. Run daily analysis of samples from the Waste Water Treatment Plant and boilers. Participate in safety and training activities.
