Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Welders for projects located in San Diego, CA . This is an opportunity with multiple shifts available and the pay rate is up to $29/hour based on experience plus $150/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site . Job Scope:

+ Weld shell plating, fabricated cast or forged components for vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies

+ Working with carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal

+ May prepare work place for welding by cleaning and or preheating

+ Examine weld sizes of weld beads

+ Remove scraps and ensure work area is clean and safe

Requirements

+ Must have OSHA 10, Maritime and Fire-Watch Certifications

+ Must be US Citizen

+ Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

+ Must be able to pass a vision test

+ Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and any assigned shift

+ Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English

+ Must have knowledge of welding characteristics of metal
