  • Reports into: VP
  • Team only consists of him and 1 other Analyst
  • This role is a hybrid of commission + Market Data
  • A must have is data market services (contract analysis, invoice experience)
  • The team is doing the onboarding, contract negotiations, financials, answering portfolio management questions, updating inventory, accounting, forecasting: they dont need to know everything day 1 but they need to have the desire to learn
  • Since it is a hybrid position, they understand it will be hard to find someone to check all the boxes-biggest thing they are looking for is going to come off hard working and willing to learn but need to have strong experience doing 1 or the other
  • Soft dollar experience/exposure is a nice to have, NOT a must
  • Candidates coming from buy-side firms is preferred but will also look at people from sell-side firms (I would look at buy-side first)
  • Excel is very important-this role will be very heavy in Excel and ad-hoc so strong use in both of these is important.
  • As far as years of experience, they are more so concerned about having someone who is eager and excited to learn. If they have fewer years of experience, they will be on the lower end of the comp scale
  • They are on a hybrid schedule: 3x a week in office (M/F are remote days). They also get a generous amount of opportunity to work from home (week of Xmas + 1st week of January is fully remote)
