Key Responsibilities:
- Desk research and data analysis related to industries, market segments, consumers, competitors, and the multicultural market landscape.
- Conduct research to determine the size of the prize, estimating the revenue potential of specific market segments.
- Develop and implement surveys, questionnaires, and focus groups to collect consumer and customer data that addresses specific client business questions, hypotheses, and desired outcomes.
- Assist immediate supervisor with developing detailed personas to represent diverse target audiences, identifying their preferences, motivations, and behaviors.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into consumer behavior and cultural influences, offering strategic recommendations.
- Create reports and presentations that summarize and highlight key insights from research and analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, culturally sensitive language.
- Participate in major business events and projects to better understand the marketplace and client needs.
- Provide support to the team during key initiatives. Collaborate with strategy and marketing teams to develop and execute plans.
- Track and report on market trends, competitive changes, and emerging opportunities.
- Stay current with relevant industry news, trends, and technology advancements.
- Adapt to assist with non-research business needs that foster collaboration and team success.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, marketing research, economics, statistics, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in market research, data analysis, or similar fields.
- Ability to collaborate as a team player, assisting with various business events and initiatives as needed.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Flexible and creative problem solving; quickly adjust to client feedback and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to the companys evolving needs.
Desired:
- Experience developing target audience personas and/or opportunity sizing for key market segments.
- Familiarity with analytic techniques like regression, factor analysis, cluster analysis, or time series analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Zoho Analytics, Qlik or similar.
