JOB SUMMARY
Part-time: Salary is Negotiable, depending on experience and network, plus bonuses.
Responsible for marketing and sales of the home care agency
An established network is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Baccalaureate degree preferred, expierence will be considered.
One (1) year experience in skilled home health care required.
Must have a criminal background check. Drivers License, Auto Insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Utilize current referral sources to increase census.
Makes cold calls to all potential healthcare settings that could use our services:
Hospitals, Assisted Livings, Long Term Care facilities, Outpatient clinics, private physician practices, Senior Centers and others.
Maintains a new referral quota of unduplicated patients per month.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO BE OPERATED
Office equipment- phone, computer, printer, copy machine, car
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoors, performing computer/office duties- phone work
Travel to referrals/meetings; will require transportation to get to various sites
FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES
Able to hear, speak, understand and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to travel to prospective referral sources.
Work with referral sources to understand their needs and requirements to feed information back for organizational improvements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
On a daily basis: walking, standing, sitting, reaching, use of telephone, use of computers & other office equipment, climbing stairs.
