Position Summary:

This highly interactive entry level position is a liaison between Five Points, Reynolda, affiliates, investors and vendors. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for supporting the business development, marketing, fundraising, data analysis, client relationship management and ad hoc needs of the firm. In addition to being a self-starter, problem solver, and skilled at prioritization the incumbent in this role must have outstanding interpersonal skills in order to interact with a variety of individuals. This role provides training and development opportunities and growth within the role for additional responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

Business Development:

  • Input and track all new investment opportunities in CRM system
  • Support new investment opportunity processing efforts (including managing the processing and execution of non-disclosure agreements)
  • Review data entries then update and resolve issues
  • Manage materials received from deal sources
  • Track and monitor outbound marketing efforts
  • Support Investment and Business Development team with scheduling marketing meetings and activities
  • Market research and presentation on findings
  • Data analysis and graph development
  • Investigate bounced emails to then update in CRM system

Fundraising / Investor Relations:

  • Support fundraising initiatives and administrative needs from firm and Investor Relations Associate
  • Perform ad hoc and special projects as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), CRM management (Salesforce) and data entry
  • Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced, evolving work environment consistently and positively
  • Tableau and PowerBI experience a plus
  • Highly organized individual, possessing strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in an environment with distractions
  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Must have the ability to interact with a variety of individuals (employees at all levels, clients, vendors), along with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, intellectually curious and forward thinking

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field

Experience:

  • 2-3 years in marketing or administration
  • Experience in professional services or private equity is a plus
