Position Title: Marketing and Events Coordinator

Job Summary: The Marketing and Events Coordinator will manage our social media presence,

keep our website current, and handle all logistics for our U.S. based events. This role involves

close collaboration with our international team to ensure comprehensive content creation for

social media, collaboration with US Team and volunteers for smooth execution of events.

About Key of Hope: Key of Hope is a Christian non-profit organization committed to reaching

broken children and youth through life-long mentoring and discipleship while meeting their

physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We aim to instill hope and foster growth amidst the

challenges of poverty and AIDS. The U.S. Team maintains and builds relationships with

individuals, businesses, and churches interested in joining our discipleship efforts. They support

these initiatives by contributing financially, offering prayers, and/or volunteering either in the U.S.

or by participating in mission trips to our sites in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

● Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of U.S. events logistics for Golf Events, Ladies

Tea, and Choir Tours. Ensure these events operate seamlessly, focusing on organization

and problem-solving, while the U.S. Team Leader manages attendance and fundraising..

● Social Media Management: Work with our overseas staff to secure enough video

and photos to generate engaging social media content. Schedule and develop posts to

maintain an active social media presence, reflecting activities in Durban, South Africa,

and Nyaharuru, Kenya.

● Communication: Regular meetings with international colleagues for updates on ministry

activities abroad

● Content Strategy Development: Develop and implement content strategies that align with

our mission and event schedules.

● Volunteer Coordination: Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling for

events or campaigns.

● Impact Reporting: Collect and analyze data to report on the effectiveness of marketing

and events.

● Website Management: Keep our website updated, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly..

● Resource Development: Assist in creating marketing materials for various promotional

uses.

Qualifications:

Faith Commitment: A deep commitment to Christian faith, with enthusiasm for serving

through work.

Experience: Social Media management and event planning experience are preferred.
