This entry-level marketing position is designed to give the employee a well-rounded experience in many areas of marketing by supporting a wide range of marketing tasks. In this role, the employee will work very closely with co-workers to produce marketing materials, analyze campaigns, support events, develop internal communications and more. Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities:
- Work closely with the co-workers and other departments on the organization and implementation of internal events, including organization of giveaways, event set up and coordination, creating promotional materials, booking vendors and more. Examples include, but are not limited to: Employee Appreciation Week, sales meetings, holiday events, anniversaries, etc.
- Work with Director of Marketing and Communications to plan and oversee the implementation of a content calendar for SharePoint intranet. Responsible for creating both written and video content, as well as designing and laying out pages.
- Responsible for overseeing the budget and inventory for online giveaway store websites for both the McLanahan and EIW brands.
- Play a role in updating and maintaining website by working with other marketing team members to develop landing pages and website pages that support campaign efforts and meet SEO best practices.
- Work with team members to assign leads through HubSpot, moving customers through the marketing funnel.
- Responsible for creating quarterly reports on marketing efforts through tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and more. Present to entire marketing team to help facilitate discussions on areas of improvement.
- Oversee the content management for the dealer apps for both McLanahan Corporation and Eagle Iron Works, ensuring all content is up to date, well organized and presented in an effective manner.
- Write and distribute all monthly e-newsletters for both dealers and customers through HubSpot and Constant Contact for all business units and brands.
- Assist in the management of social media by following the content calendar, monitoring posts, and reporting on analytics.
- Provide assistance in the organization and implementation of trade shows and events for customers and dealers as needed.
Education/Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or similar degree with one to three years of experience preferred.
- Extremely strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Must have experience with social media outlets such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; experience with Google Analytics and Google AdWords a plus.
Competencies/ Knowledge/Attributes:
- Computer literacy, including Office products required; knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Products preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and thrive in a team environment, as well as communicate professionally to all levels and types of positions.
- Enjoys collaborative work, while still self-motivated and can take initiative to complete tasks with little direction.
