Job SummaryThe Marketing Assistant position provides administrative support and miscellaneous services to the Marketing Department. Assists with snow reporting three days a week from December through March. Helps with getting winter resort photography and videos for social channels. Assists with packing and inventory for all trade shows. Helps maintain resort brochure racks. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Snow Reporter three days a week from December through March. Includes updating the Crystal web site and miscellaneous snow reporting web sites. Communicates slope updates throughout the day when needed and distributing on property snow report.
- Assist with getting winter resort photography & video daily, when possible, for social channels and more.
- Assist with on-property fulfillment of brochure racks.
- Assist with helping pack for trade shows and keeping track of inventory in the Inn basement storage room.
- Assist with proofing and sometime writing copy for all types of marketing projects.
- Assist the Marketing Department with posters, signs, coupons and miscellaneous projects when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job SpecificationsCompetencies:
- Experience with SMS and Sales32 a plus.
- Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) required.
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
- Able to analyze, interpret and present data in various formats.
- Able to work with computers, faxes, copiers, scanners and various other technologies in offices and around the resort.
- Dependable and meets goals.
- Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
- Ski and Golf experience preferred, but not required
- Education:
- AA/AS degree or experience in Marketing preferred; Graphic Design, Photography/Video and Communication experience preferred.
- Physical & Other Requirements:

- Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
