Marketing Business Analyst Location: Greensboro, NC, US, 27409 Position Type: Professional Transport is at the core of modern society. What you will do As a Business Analyst primarily supporting Marketing and Sales, you will collaborate with the Product Owner, Architects, core team members and the stakeholders, in the design and development of new services within the Volvo Group. We are seeking a proactive candidate with IT digital marketing experience to support in the overall management of site marketing experiences. The ideal profile is someone who is a hands-on specialist with a demonstrated working knowledge of web platforms, user experience, and analytics, while working with agile methodologies and has the ability to work across many stakeholder groups. You are an experienced, self-organized, and motivated individual, with a strong combination of analysis expertise and technical skills. You have a background in working with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), web analytics, user interface and experience, content management systems and personalization. Responsibilities Gather and document detailed solution requirements from business stakeholders and ensure there is good alignment between the stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, business consultants and the Product Owner. Work together with the Enterprise Architects, business consultants and product owner to develop work items with well-defined deliverables and agreed upon acceptance criteria for the product backlog using Microsoft Azure Devops. Work in close collaboration with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and Project Manager to assess capacity and velocity when planning sprints. Assist architects and business consultants in the creation and finalization of process flows. Maintain the consistency of look and language in presentations to stakeholders. Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards. Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications. Create solution-oriented process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team. Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted. Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood. Monitor the backlog and keep work items updated as needed. Follow up with team members to ensure required documentation is included in relevant work items, and deliverables meet acceptance criteria, prior to Product Owner review. Understand and promote the use of an agile mindset and ways of working with a lean start-up mentality. Monitor and coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement and estimation, as needed to support the product owner. Periodic competitor reviews to relay the company's positive trends and where we lack excellence and fall short compared to our competitors. Collaborate with the core team to discuss lessons learned and improvements based on retrospective feedback and identified opportunities and issues. Facilitate communication and host activities that build trust, respect, and motivation throughout the team and cross-functionally in a digital way. Suggest changes in business operations. Help to drive business change and process improvement (bring a different view of working operations and challenge main stakeholders). Work with the Product owner to execute on change management. In this role, you will bring: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst role Ability to work independently (self-organized) in a challenging and complex business and technical environment Excellent knowledge of the agile mindset and ways of working, and practical use of the Scrum framework Professional proficiency with the English language, both spoken and written Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets Background relative to web technology, web analytics and search engine optimization (SEO) Content management system knowledge experience Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO tools Knowledge of Sitecore is a plus Whats in it for you?
