Insight Global is seeking an experienced and creative Marketing and Technical Communications Manager to lead all aspects of marketing, communications, and technical documentation at a leading industrial manufacturing company in Chattanooga, TN. This position will shape the company's brand identity, support trade show activities, manage technical publications, and execute Value-Added Selling strategies that set us apart in the Utility Industry.

This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive salary and benefits.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing strategies across all channels, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
  • Value-Added Selling: Develop and implement content that articulates the unique benefits and differentiators of the company's products and services to its customers
  • Technical Writing: Develop and oversee the creation and revision of technical documents, including user manuals, product work instructions, and quick-start guides, ensuring accuracy and clarity
  • Trade Shows: Lead logistics and marketing support for events, including the a large utility expo
  • Collaborative Content Creation: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to develop effective marketing and sales support materials
  • SEO and Web Strategy: Oversee the performance and visibility of the company's online presence to enhance customer engagement and lead generation
  • Customer Initiatives: Support and implement customer-facing programs such as Stringing U, NPS initiatives, and website redesign efforts
  • Supervisory: Oversee and manage strategic contributions and the daily workflow of the department's Marketing and Communications Specialist and Creative Service Specialist
  • Social Media Strategy and Execution: Provide strategy and oversee the development and implementation of social media content that increases customer engagement across platforms

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years in marketing, communications, or technical writing in a manufacturing or technical field
  • Proven expertise in creating marketing strategies and content
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in SEO and digital marketing tools
  • Experience managing trade shows or large events
  • Ability to understand and present technical information in a way that resonates to diverse audiences
