Marketing Communications Specialist - Career Resource Services : Job Details

NOTE: The first 6 months is 100% onsite in Downtown Dallas. After 6 months, this role will be a hybrid position. You will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in crafting and executing content that builds brand awareness, engages target audiences, and supports business objectives. You will develop content that reflects the brand voice and resonates with the audience.

• Content Development: Create compelling content for various marketing channels, including blogs, social media posts, newsletters, website copy, and presentations. Conducts interviews with clients and promotes article placement. Ensure content aligns with brand voice and marketing strategy.
• Storytelling and Brand Messaging: Develop stories and brand narratives that convey the value of the products/services and support the brand's mission. Tailor messaging for different audience segments.
• Content Optimization: Use SEO best practices and data analytics to optimize written content for maximum reach and impact, adjusting strategies based on performance insights.
• Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the visual communication specialist and other team members to develop multimedia content that enhances written narratives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Proven experience in marketing communications, content creation, and social media management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with non-profit and faith-based organizations.
• Ability to adapt brand messaging to diverse formats and channels, demonstrating creativity and versatility.
• 3-5 years' experience in a writing intensive role
