JOB SUMMARY:The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the execution and implementation of database strategies to maintain the security, integrity and precision of the database as it relates to all player reinvestment activities. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity and security of several databases.
  • Develop and code the list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns and communicate requirements to the primary database vendor.
  • Performs data mining and queries of the database.
  • Prepares data files for importing and/or exporting.
  • Adjusts database settings as directed.
  • Performs database integration and data manipulation of player databases(s).
  • Ensures the database includes only active and mailable accounts by developing
daily audits, developing and implementing data entry standards.
  • Identifies and/or runs mailing lists (direct mail and email) as required from the
database(s).
  • Provides consistent database activity status reports.
  • Assists in providing support and input into all marketing and operational projects
related to database.
  • Identifies inactive guests in the club database.
  • Maintains an effective database by periodically purging or cleaning up inactive or
duplicate accounts.
  • Responsible for the build of offer structures into appropriate sources such as the player management system, kiosks, player app, or others as needed.
  • Assist in any promotion/special interest related activity if required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of many computer programs and programming languages.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of casino facility, as well as current and upcoming events on and off property
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Attends all necessary training meetings.
  • Assist in other projects, as directed.
  • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  • Experience in gaming/hospitality industries preferred.
  • Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
  • Must have the physical ability to work with extreme weather as well as the ability to lift 25 lbs, to squat, stand or bend repeatedly.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
