Position Profile Weaver is looking for a senior events specialist with strong experience in event management and the execution of event marketing and communications. This role is responsible for assisting in the execution of Weaver's hosted event programs, from initial concept development and venue sourcing to post-event analysis and wrap up. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to execute all event communications, promotion to various target audiences, attendee registration, event logistics and a variety of other in-person and virtual event components. You will be responsible for the creation and distribution of targeted email marketing campaigns for events, including maintaining distribution lists and engaging internal stakeholders in assisting with event promotion. This position requires a proactive, creative thinker with experience executing marketing communications and event project management. It also requires someone who is very organized and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additional responsibilities include writing and editing event-related content, including invitations, registration instructions, , topic descriptions, post-event feedback requests and additional promotional copy as requested. . This role is integral to supporting speakers and the finalization presentation material used for events, as such candidates should have experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications with a high-level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of martech platforms such as Cvent, Zoom and HubSpot is a plus. The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and have a passion for learning and staying abreast of best practices, trends and tools. You should be comfortable interacting, communicating and presenting ideas to team members and internal stakeholders. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing, communications and/or event marketing.
- Experience in managing both in-person and virtual events.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create original content and edit the work of others.
- Skilled in editing PowerPoint presentations and updating slide decks to support speaker content and enhance event presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
- Familiarity with event management software and tools.
- Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Self-reliant with strong overall business acumen.
- Self-motivated with a high energy level.
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience marketing accounting and/or other professional services.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Familiarity with martech platforms Cvent, Zoom and HubSpot.

Annual Base Pay Range for Texas: $74,000 to $88,000Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
