Primary Scheduled Hours: DaysJob Summary:Responsible for the execution of marketing plans for Public Hospital District #1. Collaborates with the Senior Director of Strategy to develop strategic marketing plans to achieve the District's objectives. Manages and adheres to the marketing department's operating budget. Designs advertising, including print, radio, website, video and social media campaigns. Manages website content and makes updates as required. This position requires ability to work independently and with teams.Responsible for the planning and direction of fundraising for the Foundation. Fundraising includes, but is not limited to, special events, individuals, friends of the hospital, businesses, corporations and foundations. The position may require some travel, availability for evening meetings, and attendance or participation in weekend events / community relations activities. This position demands the ability to work well with others. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Plans, implements, and administers fundraising programs which generate revenue from individuals, corporations, foundations, organizations, special events, and marketing partnerships. Collaborates with the Foundation Board and organization management to establish plans and evaluate effectiveness of plans. May oversee planned giving, annual giving and major gifts programs, special events, donor relations and related research, and funds development.
- Participates in Chamber of Commerce and other meetings and events throughout the Pend Oreille River Valley as appropriate.
Essential Job Functions:
- Executes and monitors comprehensive marketing plans and programs for the facility's long- and short-term goals, according to the District's strategic direction. This includes designing and creating ads, forms, billboards, and other materials / content as needed.
- Ability to develop, track and manage program budgets.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Researches, monitors and analyzes financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities, while staying current with marketing trends and tactics.
- Provides monthly reports to the Senior Director of Strategy regarding progress of marketing campaigns and adherence to budget.
- Collaborates with other departments regarding marketing, signage, business cards, and form needs.
- Leads District signage efforts, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Attends community events / trade shows where District and Foundation representation and promotion is needed.
Education Background and Experience RequirementsMinimum Education:Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business administration, communication, or other related field.Required Licensure / Certifications:Valid driver's license.Required Experience:•A minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare and/or medical industry is required.•A minimum of five (5) years of experience in fundraising (including grant writing) and marketing (or related field) is required.•Website content management, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator (Creative Cloud)Supervisory experience; experience working with governing boardsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working for a public / government entity. Master's degree in marketing, public relations, business administration, communication, or another related field. WordPress experienceProfessional Requirements:
