Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a renowned financial institution to hire a Marketing Researcher.

This is a six month contract. The pay is $37-$41.05/hr.

Our client is seeking a Principal Associate Market Researcher Contractor to join the Enterprise Brand Insights team. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide consumer insights that inform marketing, advertising, and brand building strategies for the company. Responsibilities are likely to include primary market research to inform go to market strategies, creative testing, and brand health tracking. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing primary research and applied insights to drive business outcomes of key strategic initiatives.

As a valued member of the team you will…

  • Leverage the depth and breadth of your knowledge and expertise in primary and secondary research to help conduct research designed to inform business and marketing strategies
  • Contribute to the design and execution of market research projects, including deciding on appropriate research methodologies, assessing pricing and feasibility, conducting analyses, writing reports creation, and presenting insights
  • Partner with business, media, advertising and marketing teams to identify knowledge gaps and translate business objectives into the development of a powerful research agenda that will guide strategy
  • Present brand and marketing insights to internal clients and leaders, influencing others through storytelling and impactful insights that drive discussion and business action
  • Periodically perform data pulls and ad-hoc analyses to inform key business decisions
  • Contribute and continually update your knowledge of evidence-based marketing to refine Capital One's brand strategy and measurement approaches

What you will bring to the team…

  • Curious, self-motivated and entrepreneurial – comfortable with white space and interested in proactively proposing and pursuing new research projects to address partner questions
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to read and interpret survey results, identify insights, and synthesize how these insights impact marketing strategy
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with outstanding communication skills and experience simplifying complex subject matter to present actionable insights in a compelling way through effective design and data visualizations
  • Experience in planning, execution, and analysis of market research, including questionnaire design, experimental design, qualitative research, and other market research methods
  • Experience with development and management of an on-going market research agenda
  • Ability to travel within North America (10%) once normal travel resumes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • Experience in a primary market research role on either the supplier side or client side
  • Experience in a primary market research role on either the supplier side or client side.
  • Experience working on or leading brand health studies and/or long-term research projects focused on marketing communications and business results, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Subject matter expertise in B2B and B2C technology
  • Experience in a primary market research role managing an on-going tracking study
  • Experience working with analytical tools such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL or similar relational database tools
  • Experience in a “client” facing consultative role (supplier or internal)
  • Experience at a Fortune 500 company or a company well-known for the marketing and market research disciplines
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems
