POSITION SUMMARYThe Marketing Specialist in the Communications Department supports the mission of Trinity Church NYC by managing the email strategy, management, and operations. We are looking for a detail and deadline-oriented collaborator, who will be responsible for calendarizing, list building, email building and sending as well as testing and analyzing results for continual performance improvement and subscriber growth. A background in email marketing is essential; experience with HubSpot is preferred.The annual salary range for this position is $84,600 to $95,400.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage email marketing strategy, including creation and execution of weekly and monthly newsletters, ad hoc emails, and nurture and lead gen campaigns, list segmentation, and testing to increase engagement
- Liaise with stakeholders across the organization to ensure high-quality email content is aligned with ministry partners' goals, work with the IT Department to optimize email and database systems and processes, collaborate with Communications colleagues for design and proofreading
- Use tools to track projects and trends; provide analytics reports with recommendations
- Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other Trinity Wall Street policies, procedures, and rules.
- Performs all duties in a manner that promotes Trinity's mission and core values
- Assume other related responsibilities and special projects as required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES
- Excellent project management, testing and data analysis skills
- Skilled at collaborating and influencing colleagues, as well as problem-solving and building consensus
- The ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Interest in the mission of Trinity Church Wall Street preferred; knowledge of church workings helpful.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in communications and marketing, including email marketing
- Familiarity with marketing automation, HTML, CRM, and project management tools; experience with HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics preferred
