Position Description Assists with marketing functions for the organization, including routine operational tasks. Work Performed Creates, edits and modifies advertisements and other publications Taking photos for various marketing materials Monitoring online/social media chatter about BASC related services Creating images for use on company Website Creating marketing materials Working various company events (Open House, Summer Orientations, Focus Groups, Commuter Food Fair, Themed Dinners, etc. Brainstorming contest/promotions ideas Ordering office supplies Monitoring department email accounts Assists in production of print publications - including making copies, assembling materials, making deliveries/pick-ups at print shop Answers phones and takes messages Provides secretarial support Provides support with special projects Types memos and other documents needed Assists with filing Maintains spreadsheets Data input Assists customers Job Specifications Ability to recognize good artistic design Punctual, dependable and responsible Detail oriented Neat, clean professional appearance Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a regular basis Accuracy in the performance of basic math skills Ability to interact with others in a professional manner. Ability to operate appropriate equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, scanner Knowledge of BASC rules and regulations Qualifications: Exceptional computer skills needed and basic knowledge of graphic design. Must be competent in MS Office software. Experience in Google Mail (including Docs), Publisher, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred, but not required. Must be self-starter. Good customer service skills required.
