Marsh Technician - Wisconsin - Manulife Financial Corporation : Job Details

The Opportunity. The Marsh Technician is Responsible for general labor functions for cranberry marshes. Employee will perform manual work associated with planting, cultivating, irrigation, and harvesting of cranberries. The employee will also perform general care and upkeep of the marsh facilities and equipment. Responsibilities. Performing duties as assigned on a daily basis by the Marsh Manager or Foreman. Effective, efficient, orderly and timely farming operations including irrigation and frost watch with frequent oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman. Assisting other employees in performing their duties efficiently and effectively. Promptly reporting problems or successes, and any other reports required by Marsh Manager. Following company safety policies and procedures. Operation and daily maintenance of farming equipment used on the property with frequent oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman.
