Material Coordinator - Great Dane Trailers : Job Details

Investigates issues with material and inventory variances. Recommends possible solutions, resolutions, etc. Posts and maintains material planning & NCM files. Prioritizes inventory moves to effectively support uninterrupted production. Identify locations where material should be placed by forklift driver. Perform 5 S in areas of responsibility. Return to stock material that is no longer needed. Prepare information about what material is needed where and when and at what quantity. Coordinate delivery of material with forklift drivers. Assist Cycle Counters in counting lineside material. Facilitate and coordinate NCM process for respective areas. Qualifications Your Skills & Abilities (QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS): Education: GED or high school diploma is preferred. Experience: Prior experience in heavy assembly work is preferred. Must be able to perform work with little supervision. May be asked to assist in the training of new employees. Forklift certification required.
