Your Role: The philosophy of our workgroup is to create a workforce that is very flexible. Material Handler 1 performs a variety of tasks in different work functions and may be involved with the processing. This role also includes movement of parts/components, chemical drums, and other items throughout the plant as well as handling all the inventory cycle counting and transactions. The hours for the position are Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM PST Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize the MPR enterprise system associated with the Material Handler role
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack (both electric and manual)
- Assist with reviewing, editing, and developing work instructions and other required documents associated with the work area(s)
- Process and track rejected and repaired components (in-house and to/from the vendors)
- Storage, receive, handle, and process chemical raw material drums and other vessels throughout the plant
- Inventory control of material & performing cycle counting
- Tracking, inventory, and tagging of vessels/glass container
- Responsible for recycling collection and/or disposition ( pallets, cardboard, scrap metal, plastic, and aluminum materials)
- General housekeeping duties inside and outside of the plant
- Train other technicians as necessary on duties of the Material Handling and Warehousing processes as necessary
- Participate in the process for entering, collecting, and reviewing safety and quality data
Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of warehousing experience
- Shipping, and receiving inventory experience
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency with Microsoft products( Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- SAP functions experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Familiar with material moving equipment, powered industrial trucks (forklift), pallet jacks, power pallet jacks, and drums dollies
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a safe working environment and meeting all quality requirements
Pay Range for this position - $39,100 - $117,300 Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
