Material Handler Location: Batesburg Leesville Area Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Material Handler with the potential to become a skilled Machinery Operator. This role involves material handling duties as well as on-the-job training to operate machinery, with a focus on plate rolling equipment. Experience as a Plate Roller is highly desirable but not required; we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals. Key Responsibilities: Handle materials efficiently and accurately, including loading and unloading trucks, storing materials, and delivering them to production areas. Participate in training programs to learn to operate plate rolling machinery and other fabrication equipment. Fabricate equipment according to specifications, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets. Assist with other tasks as needed, including inventory management and quality control checks. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in material handling or manufacturing preferred. Willingness to undergo training to operate machinery, with a strong interest in learning new skills. Experience as a Plate Roller is a significant advantage. Ability to lift and move heavy materials, and to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Benefits: Pay is $15/hr + Doe Annual bonus: Bonus can be 1/2 weeks' pay of salary and up to 8.5 weeks' pay of salary.
