Material Handler, 1st Shift - Illinois Tool Works : Job Details

Inspect and complete the Hi-Lo checklist for each Hi-Lo used. Review production boards, production floor, trash, cardboard, and sequence areas to identify immediate needs. Pick up and stock areas with Work-In-Progress (WIP) products as needed, ensuring partial boxes are tagged and transported appropriately. Ensure all totes/boxes have an Operator ID sticker before moving containers from the press. Transport finished assemblies using dividers to prevent scratches or scuffing. Supply components to production areas, ensuring correct colors and materials. Maintain organized sequence areas by stocking parts, removing lids, and placing items appropriately. Stock materials/components for all departments (e.g., lids, boxes, skids, totes). Transfer empty boxes from the plant to the press and stage finished goods. Replace skid of bad boxes as needed. Keep the aisles clear of products and boxes to ensure safety. Perform 5 S warehouse tasks, including labeling racks and organizing materials.
