Material Handler (2nd shift) - Westaff : Job Details

THE JOB: To handle raw materials, parts and finish products between various production and warehouse areas RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and unload freight as required.
• Expedite large items to the production.
• Assist Materials Coordinator as required.
• Recommend ways to better organize and expedite shipping and distribution processes.
• Willingness to assist other team members.
• Respond to emergency supply requests.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.
• Overtime as required.

• 1+ year of related experience.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Experience or willingness to learn 20-ton Crane operation
• High school diploma.
• Meticulous attention to details.
• Multitasking
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize inventory warehouse material systems.
• Able to read and write.
• Excellent communicator.
• Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods of time
