**Material Handler**

**Job Purpose:**

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

**Nature of Duties:**

* Locate material and equipment needed for each job.

* Remove material and equipment from completed jobs.

* Issue and return material as instructed.

* Supply material to all jobs as assigned.

* May unload incoming material and store in proper place, for consumption within the department.

* Obtain cycle counts.

* Practice safe working habits.

* Periodically check for unsafe conditions and correct as needed.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* Basic computer skills preferred

* High School Diploma or equivalent
