Position Summary

The primary function of a Material Handler is to assist in the daily operation of the warehouse as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Accurately transfers and moves materials in a timely manner.

* Responsible for retrieving and staging materials for shipping.

* Inspects all labels and documentation for accuracy.

* Stores material and record transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

* Maintains a safe working environment.

* Ensures that GMP, housekeeping and safety practices are being followed.

* Responsible for general maintenance of the warehouse (cleaning floors, equipment, and racks as appropriate).

* Responsible for reporting any safety issues to supervisor.

* Works closely with the supervisor on prioritizing tasks.

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education is required.

* 1 - 3 years of previous warehouse experience is required.

* Must have experience operating a reach truck and a forklift.

* Ability to lift / maneuver up to 66 lbs. of heavy materials on a regular basis is required.

* Must be proficient in the English language.

* Self-motivated individual willing to perform hard work.

* Must be dependable and punctual.

* Experience with SAP and/or RF scanning is a plus.
