Job DetailsJob Location Lynn Plant - Lynn, MA Description To ensure continuous and efficient operation of the material handling and issuing process, as well as all subsequent inventory transactions under a very demanding environment Kettle Cuisine takes the utmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safe working practices at all times
  • Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your manager
  • Retrieve and scan out raw materials from coolers, freezer and warehouse to production rooms
  • Communicate and resolve LPN variances
  • Follow the company GMP's and HCAPP guidelines at all times
  • Ensure clean and tidy work areas including the Inspections and surveillance of all packing and storage conditions
  • Plan ahead all activities to reduce downtime
  • Track completed transactions via Material Requirements Report
  • Complete cycle-counts when required
  • Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes
  • Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor
  • Encourage colleagues to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
  • Take instructions from supervisors.
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management
  • Communicate an end of shift / Hand-off to the next shift
  • End of shift clean and equipment check
Required Skills
  • Able to work under pressure all the time, responding on a fast manner following safety procedures
  • Warehouse & Manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry
  • Experience working in temperature controlled settings
  • Understands Inventory at a conceptual level
  • Experience performing inventory transactions via scan gun
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack / fork lift
  • Goal oriented & well organized
  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time
  • Bilingual or English speaking required
