Material Handler - Day Shift - PPG : Job Details

Day Shift hours from7 am to 330 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm. Monday - Friday. Some overtime and weekends may be required.

PPG Windsor Locks, CTis hiring a Material Handler. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with a variety of customers as a part of a fast-moving, dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities

• Work will be on the customer site doing functions such as: scanning, storing, and distributing material and products within establishments.

• Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.

• Reads customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas, to storage or other designated areas.

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (FIFO).

• Operates electric cart to move materials.

• Communicate via email and teams, run reports, scan current inventory, break down pallets and deliver material to designated locations.

• Floating holidays based on customer demand.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English.

• Previous material handler experience preferred.

• Microsoft office experience highly preferred.

• Previous Aerospace experience a plus.

• Lift up to 25 pounds infrequently.

• Position requires ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, carry, and reachproducts.

• Able to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends as required.

• Will be required to travel to our Mt Laurel, Philadelphia ASC site a few times yearly.
