Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a detail-oriented Flexible Circuit Material Handler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling flexible printed circuit materials, possess strong computer skills, and have a basic understanding of inventory management. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the production floor by managing materials efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with management and engineering to meet production goals, improve processes, and maintain a leveled work force.
  • Manage and handle flexible printed circuit materials with precision and care. Ensure the safe and proper storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials, perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies, and monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock.
  • Order all raw materials and complete cycle counts/audits to ensure inventory levels are adequate, notifying proper personnel if there is a shortage.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth flow of materials through the production process.
  • Accurately key in material information into the system. Maintain and organize all relevant paperwork and documentation. Ensure accountabilities for all materials handled and used in production.
  • Uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Experience in handling flexible printed circuit materials strongly desired. Flexible Printed Circuit Material handling experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory processes and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. Strong sense of urgency.
  • Works well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Good self-organizational skills and ability to work with limited supervision.
