Job Description :
Our Drivers receive direction from the Shift Supervisor, but must work closely with and are accountable with the Driving Team. They are responsible for the forklift as a unit, along with any equipment required to perform the daily tasks (i.e. safety, quality and production procedures). In their role, they will communicate with team members at many different levels, in various departments, and may coordinate the duties of those new to the team or role.Path for Success:
  • Operate Forklifts safely and in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations.
  • 1+ year sit down forklift experience.
  • Attend and participate in crew transition meetings, and any shift pre-work meetings.
  • Ensure all proper paperwork and materials are used. This includes pallets, slip sheets, WIP paperwork and finished skid labeling paperwork is documented accordingly and stored correctly
  • Ensure product meets quality standards as set by management and Quality Assurance.
  • Responsible for proper and safe charging of the forklift.
  • Responsible for compliance with the facility's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) program.
  • Participate in Lean Initiatives and team meetings.
  • Ensure all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed operator's log and transition with the oncoming Line Feeder.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as set forth by the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor as needed.
  • Perform safety checklists on forklifts and report and log any safety discrepancies with the Leadership Team
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written in the English language
Shift: 4 on/4off (7AM - 7:30PM) Wage: $21.42/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM Benefits and Perks:
