ApplyDescriptionJOB SUMMARYPerforms material handling and storage, loading and unloading of silver bullets, loading and unloading of grain tray carts. Fills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests and documents transactions appropriately. Cleaning up of machinery and energetic material during normal operations and upset conditions.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Set up operating lines for assemblers* Retrieve and/or receive silver bullets from Bldg. 91 and load/unload silver bullets into dry solids room* Retrieve material and/or equipment from Bldg. 29 Warehouse* Load and unload grain tray carts* Don pyro suit for upset conditions and general cleanup of energetic material* Moves parts and materials from place to place within the production area and Bldg. 91* Transports material by company vehicle (truck, forklift, etc.) and use of Priority scanner to keep accurate inventory of energetic material* Cleans up equipment to include Muller mixers, wet collectors, dust collectors, collection sump, vibratory dryers, buckets, bucket keg conveyor system, hoppers, extruders, carriage containers, etc.* Learn all processes related to moving, loading and unloading of materials and equipment, cleaning of mix pots and any other equipment as required, dealing with upset conditions, binder room, adding of shells to inert composition, etc.OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Special projects and additional duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY* N/AEDUCATION* N/AEXPERIENCE* Six months of experience in a manufacturing setting preferredSKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS* Eligible to pass medical exam for use of respirators and Pyro suit* Must be Pyro suit certified within 30 days* Ability to work under minimal supervision* On the job training will be required* Eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF)* Ability to obtain and retain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance if required.* Willing to work in an environment that requires a Safety First attitude. Must obey all Safety, Health & Environmental rules/regulations prescribed by regulatory agencies that are incorporated into company policy* Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle energetic and non-energetic material* The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
