As the Checker, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as packing and verifying orders and labeling boxes.**Shift: 3rd Shift**+ Monday - Friday+ 11:30 PM-8:00 AM**Pay Rate:**+ Entry Rate: $17.51+ 3-month Progression Increase: $ 18.57+ Plus $1.00 shift differential**Primary Objective**+ Packs, checks, and verifies orders for shipping.**Major Function and Scope**+ Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.+ Label boxes with packing slips.+ Verifies orders for accuracy.+ Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.+ Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.+ Operates sit-down forklift.+ Performs other related duties as required.**Experience and Knowledge Required**+ Requires a high school diploma-ability to read and write English.+ Previous distribution/warehouse experience is a plus, not required.**Competencies**+ Good oral and written communication skills, record-keeping skills, listening skills, accurate measurement capability, ability to understand and speak basic English, and ability to work safely and conscientiously.**Other Pertinent Job Information**+ While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.+ The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.+ The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance.+ The associate may lift and/or move up to 110 pounds.+ Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.+ While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.+ The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
