Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Checker to join our TEAM! As the Checker, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as packing and verifying orders and labeling boxes.

Shift: 3rd Shift

* Monday - Friday

* 11:30 PM-8:00 AM

Pay Rate:

* Entry Rate: $17.51

* 3-month Progression Increase: $ 18.57

* Plus $1.00 shift differential

Primary Objective

* Packs, checks, and verifies orders for shipping.

Major Function and Scope

* Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.

* Label boxes with packing slips.

* Verifies orders for accuracy.

* Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

* Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.

* Operates sit-down forklift.

* Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

* Requires a high school diploma-ability to read and write English.

* Previous distribution/warehouse experience is a plus, not required.

Competencies

* Good oral and written communication skills, record-keeping skills, listening skills, accurate measurement capability, ability to understand and speak basic English, and ability to work safely and conscientiously.

* Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

* While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

* The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
