**Description**

This positions responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing parts and materials to various workstations and stock locations. Generate daily cycle counting and maintain accurate record keeping of inventory. Make recommendations to improve cycle count deficiencies and reconcile discrepancies and inventory flow. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Works under limited supervision.

Shift Hours Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & CORE FUNCTIONS**

* Make recommendations for improvements for cycle counting and inventory.

* Deliver material to workstations (cells) ensuring Assemblers have adequate supplies of materials at all times. Continuous replenishment is required.

* Maintain inventory of stock.

* Record the storage, retrieval, and distribution of all material, via data entry in SAP.

* Assist production with inventory reconciliation.

* Assist with final packing/shipping of sales orders.

* Transfer material from Incoming Inspection to designated storage areas.

* Retrieve material for cell members or production planners.

* Perform daily cycle counts of stored inventory; maintain information via SAP database and reconcile discrepancies.

* Assist in shipping, receiving, and production.

* Place orders, for VMI hardware via scanner provided.

* Place orders utilizing the internet to replenish office supplies through our outside supplier.

* Fill production shortages and pull subcontracted material.

* Driving material to local suppliers or pick up of material.

**EXPERIENCE**

2+ years manufacturing experience, preferably inventory/material handling position.

**EDUCATION**

High School Diploma or GED Required

**ADDITIONAL SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS**

* Valid Driver License required.

* Must be able to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

* Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.

* Ability to manually transfer parts and materials from one location to another.

* Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.

* Proven ability to maintain accurate records.

* Excellent data entry skills; experience working with databases.

* Self-motivated; high energy.

* Good communication and telephone skills and ability to work well with others.

* Ability to make recommendations for cycle counting and improvements.

* Solid math skills.

* Proficient in UPS, FEDEX, and international shipping requirements.

* Good computer knowledge.

* Microsoft Word, Excel and Database experience.

* SAP proficient in Logistics module.

* Able to retrieve associated drawings and BOMs from SAP when required.

* Verbal and Listening Skills required.

* Clearly communicate in both oral and written form.

* Understand the speech of another person.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT**

* Position requires constant walking, standing, lifting, and moving of products.

* Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.

* Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.

* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

* Regularly preform repetitive motions

* The noise level in the work environment is usually medium.

* Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
