Material Handler III US - Insync Staffing : Job Details

Forklift Operator /Material Handler Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-8:30pm and Fridays 12:30pm-8:30pm Location: Paulsboro, NJ 08066Job Duties:

• Responsible for moving material to and from receiving, shipping, production by hand or pallet jack, cherry picker, or turret truck.
• Quality control, and the secondary stock locations,
• Communicate with internal departments to convey materials when/as needed.
• Perform pick up/delivery routes internally using a time-based system.
• Verifies packing lists, purchase orders, Bill of Ladings, or other documents to determine priorities, accuracy, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules and/or customer requirements.
• Reports shortages and/or damaged material to the appropriate personnel.
• Is the primary back-up to the receiver.
• Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies proper personnel for maintenance when needed.
• Periodically loads/unloads freight and/or packages from delivery/ pickup vehicles.
• May transport materials using industrial powered trucks or company vehicles.
• Maintains an organized layout and safe work environment.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Distribution Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

• Background check and Drug-screen
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Must have 2 years of experience with electric pallet jack, cherry picker, turret truck.
