Material Handler - Forward March : Job Details

Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading company in the manufacturing industry and is seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the materials Prepare materials for production by packaging, labeling, and organizing them Load and unload materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles Properly store materials in designated locations, ensuring inventory accuracy Retrieve and deliver materials to production areas as needed Keep inventory records updated and assist with regular inventory counts Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse role is preferred Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Physical stamina to perform lifting and moving of heavy materials Please contact Laurin at [email protected] for more information.
