SCHEDULE: M-F, 2:00pm - 10:30 PM.

Position Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for managing the efficient loading, offloading, and transportation of materials within the facility. This role ensures adherence to company procedures, maintains cleanliness, and supports overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Management:
• Load and offload trucks from the south dock and transport materials to designated locations.
• Remove and transport empty containers to the agreed-upon area.
• Load sealer materials and wax according to the specified schedule.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed for stock in Kitting, Wax, and Sealer.
• Daily Duties:
• Make daily trips to the Mail Room to deliver packages to the appropriate areas.
• Update and maintain the sealer board.
• Change sealer system filters on schedule.
• Ensure all products are correctly placed and monitored to avoid expiration.
• Housekeeping and Safety:
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in all work areas and storage locations.
• Conduct a walk-through during the first hour of each shift to identify and report any issues to the Logistics Manager.
• Remove empty barrels and totes from service.
• Ensure compliance with all safety training requirements.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Support and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Represent Abednego's interests positively and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
