Our Warehouse Team is in need of a new Material Handler. If you like to fix things, and want to be part of a new API, we'd love to talk to you about our Material Handler!What We Offer You:* Opportunity to learn from and contribute to a global team* Ability to impact customers across multiple industries* Full health & welfare benefits, 401(k), PTO, and developmental opportunities!What Our Location Offers You:* A city in Milwaukee County, located 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee* Offers Marcus Center for Performing Arts, Milwaukee County Sports Complex, a suburban feel and so much more!* Milwaukee has famous breweries, major league Baseball, and the national championship Milwaukee BucksWhat You Will Do:The Material Handler will participate in all warehouse activities and receive and process stock according to standard operating procedures.* Help drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals* Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse* Assist with inventory counts and planning* Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ensure materials or containers are moved.* Opens containers.* Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.* Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.* Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.* Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys the load to its destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move it to its destination.* Counts, weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.* Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.* Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.* Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.* To facilitate the movement of materials or products, clamp sections of a portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes.* Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to the laboratory for analysis.* Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.* Make simple adjustments or repairs like realigning belts or replacing rollers.* Assemble crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles.What You Bring:* High school diploma; Associates degree preferred* At least two years of previous warehouse experience* Forklift certification and reach truck driving experience preferred* Solution focused and process improvement driven* Proven ability to develop relationships with internal partners* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook* Bonus points if you bring experience with Lean / Continuous ImprovementCheck out the COOL things we've been up to!* Cube Cooling for Frac Truck* Turnkey Solutions for Nonalcoholic Beer & Wine* Heat Exchanger for Pharmaceuticals
