Job Description: Responsible for performing the warehouse (stockroom) activities including receiving material, unpacking, counting and checking incoming stockroom receipts and re-packing, creating and applying labels, locating material in stockroom on shelves, racks, and bins, etc., creating/processing related paperwork and records, processing Made-2-Manage database transactions (e.g. data entry of receipts, location changes, issues, cycle counts, etc.), perform material issues, perform cycle counts, and transporting/delivering issued material to internal destinations. Responsibilities: • Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the inventory area. • Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities. • Look through job orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided. • Match order information with information on picked items to ensure conformity. • Ascertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure they are safely delivered. • Handle returns and exchanges by ensuring reverse distribution processes are followed properly. • Pick Job Orders/kits, receive, maintain and recording inventory parts and issuing parts to requesting/authorized employees and maintain all necessary department inventory logs. • Unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse, and receiving area. • Perform daily cycle count to confirm inventory accuracy. Investigate and report discrepancies to adjust errors. • Achieve all performance and quality deliverables including performing product quality spot checks. • Complete work following verbal and written instructions. • Assist the Receiving Department when necessary. • Follow all safety and set precautionary procedures as required, maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. • Be accountable for maintaining daily quality standards on all work performed to ensure customer product specifications. • All other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction. • Train fellow co-workers as needed. • Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications: • High School diploma required with 1-2 years stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to read and write English. • Basic math proficiency. • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience with ERP systems. • General warehouse knowledge. • Strong communication skills. Skills: • Ability to troubleshoot. • Good judgement and decision-making skills. • Attention to detail a must. • Organized and self-motivated. • Knowledge of material handling procedures. • Experience maintaining records associated with receiving orders. • Strong computer skills.
